The online sportsbooks have responded to a lot of early money for the Pittsburgh Steelers, moving them out 1/2 a point to -4 points in the latest super bowl betting news.
The key number for NFL bettors is generally 3.5 points so the move to 4 is not really that significant. The shift from the opening call of -3 points does suggest that the general betting public is leaning heavily towards the AFC champs at this stage.
Online sportsbooks like CanBet offer great Super Bowl specials for serious gamblers. Their reduced juice offer for Super Bowl XL means the lines for both teams are offered at -107 instead of -110. Other sportsbooks are offering a free 1/2 point, which isn't that important with the current lines.
