Tom Stryker's NFL System of the Week
|
Author: Tom Stryker - Saturday, September 25, 2010
September 25 - For starters, game three teams that enter off back-to-back straight up wins are a simplistic 124-108-5 ATS for 53.4 percent. There's nothing wrong with that base! Since victories are the backbone of this technical situation, I took a look at how these game three undefeated teams did if they entered off a straight up win of four points or more. I was able to remove an 18-28-2 ATS record from this angle which improved it to a reliable 106-80-3 ATS. Close wins usually indicate a hard-fought contest that was, most likely, emotional and physical. There's a chance these teams could struggle (hangover effect) in their next battle and that is certainly the case with regards to this specific system.
With our 106-80-3 ATS in hand, this NFL system improves to a stunning 66-28 ATS provided our "play on" side is priced competitively from +2 to -7'. Substantial underdogs and overpriced heavy favorites don?t do this technical situation any justice at all. We've removed a 40-52 ATS record by using this line variance. Fortunately for us, there are three pro teams that apply to this technical situation this weekend: Pittsburgh, Miami and Green Bay!
If we take out home or neutral teams from our 66-28 ATS set, we find that road teams have been solid investments in this special situation posting a remarkable 34-11-1 ATS record. Only two of those three teams are on foreign soil this week: The Steelers and Packers!
Pittsburgh takes its spotless record to Tampa Bay while Green Bay brings it's undefeated mark to the Windy City to take on my beloved Bears. The Men of Steel and the Cheeseheads apply to this week's Game 3 NFL Undefeated Road Warrior situation and both guests are worth a look. Good luck with Pitt and GB and be sure to check back next week for another money-making system!
