The Seminoles have dropped out of the Top 25 and the folks down in Tallahassee are calling for head coach Bobby Bowden's dismissal. Rest assured, after this contest, the FSU faithful will be back on the bandwagon.
According to the history book, Florida State has dominated Duke winning all 14 meetings since 1992. None of those 14 battles has been close either. The Seminoles have won by an average of 36.4 points per game with the smallest margin of victory being 22 points!
There is a tremendous system that applies to the 'Noles too. Technically speaking, road favorites of -6 or more are a perfect 12-0 ATS provided they lost straight up as a road favorite of -7 or more last and their foe checks in off a straight up loss of 14 points or more. Believe it or not, Florida State fit this exact same system at Duke last year and won by the score of 55-24! Additionally, these 12 system wins have come by an average of 26.7 points per game!
Off a SU and ATS loss, FSU has been a very reliable investment posting a 30-16 ATS record. The Seminoles are in a bad mood right now and they'll take their frustrations out on this punchless Duke team. Take Florida State. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
