Sport: College FootballPick Selection: MIZZ over NEB
Take Missouri plus the points over Nebraska at noon ET. Nebraska is a banged-up team, and its injuries play right into the wheelhouse of the strengths of the Tigers. Missouri comes into town with a quarterback who is unflappable in Chase Daniel, but Daniel gets the benefit of facing a Nebraska defense that has four linebackers out with injury. This means that Missouri's twin TEs will be able to run wild in the middle of the field; if Nebraska chooses to pull a safety up to limit the TEs, it opens things up in single coverage for Missouri's solid WRs. Oklahoma State rolled up nearly 500 yards against Nebraska, which does not bode well for the Huskers, who are just 2-15 ATS after allowing over 200 yards rushing the previous week. Missouri's defense, on the other hand, ranks second in the Big 12 in total defense and 26th in the nation, and has a solid defensive line that will step up against Nebraska. Missouri, which has played well as a dog in the recent past (5-0 ATS with similar line their last five games), will cover, and I see a straight-up win by a small margin.
