#136 Ohio State (-) over Penn State by 31 at 3:30 PM EST
Dating back to last season, Ohio State has won and covered 10 straight games. I don't see any reason why that string of success will end here.
A few weeks ago, Penn State traveled to South Bend and got steamrolled by Notre Dame 41-17. The Buckeyes are a step ahead of the Irish in terms of overall talent and Jim Tressel's crew will be able to do what they want - when they want - against a Nittany Lions bunch that will be overmatched.
According to the history book, the home team has dominated this series to the tune of 11-2 SU and ATS in the last 13 meetings. In Columbus, the Buckeyes are a perfect 6-for-6 against the Nittany Lions and have won by an average of 21 points per game. That doesn't bode well for Joe Pa's bunch. Neither does this. As a guest facing an opponent that owns a won/loss percentage greater than .700, PSU is a woeful 9-19 SU and 11-17 ATS!
When matched up against an opponent that is coming off a straight up win of 21 points or more, the Buckeyes have posted a marvelous 28-12 ATS record including a sizzling 20-6 ATS in this role at home or a neutral site. OSU is at home, has revenge from last season and owns the edge on both sides of the ball. Take Ohio State. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
