The Sun Devils have dropped seven straight to the Trojans and that fact isn't sitting too well in Tempe. With a shot at the Pac-10 title, the Rose Bowl and possibly even a BCS berth, Arizona State will rise to the occasion and pull off this minor upset.
Respect is certainly given to Trojans head coach Pete Carroll and his spotless 22-0 SU career record in November. However, ASU is locked into one of my best rest situations and I'm going to ride the Sun Devils to victory lane. Technically speaking, rested college football home dogs fighting with revenge are a sensational 41-15-2 ATS provided they are coming off a straight up conference win and their opponent arrives with momentum of their own off a straight up victory of six points or more. Arizona State fits this system perfectly.
This is ASU's best chance at knocking off a USC team that has been a thorn in its side for seven straight years. Rest assured, the Sun Devils will make the most of it. Take Arizona State. Thank you and best of luck Tom Stryker.
