#369 BYU (-) over Colorado State at 6 PM EST
Off a loss at TCU and last week's wakeup call against UNLV, BYU will make the trek to Fort Collins completely focused on the task at hand. The Cougars have a history of playing well at Hughes Stadium too. In their last 13 games at Colorado State, the Blue and White have won 11 of them straight up on the field and averaged 40.5 points per game in those victories!
There are plenty of angles that support this investment. As a conference guest, the Cougars have played extremely well posting a solid 27-10 SU and 23-14 ATS record including 7-2 ATS in this set laying -12 or more. Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, the Rams are just 7-12 ATS in their last 19 at home matched up against an opponent that enters off a straight up win and 6-12 ATS in their last 18 priced as an underdog of +14 or more facing a foe that arrives off a straight up win!
Statistically speaking, this is a nightmare matchup for Colorado State. The Rams are ranked 117th in the nation in sacks (0.75) and, if they don't find a way to get to BYU quarterback Max Hall, CSU will be in big trouble. Currently, Hall is ranked No. 1 in the Mountain West Conference in total offense and he's coming off an impressive 245-yard four touchdown performance against UNLV.
Off back-to-back ATS losses, the Stormin' Mormons own a 10-2 ATS record in their last 12 games. Rest assured, off last Saturday's dismal performance against the Rebels, the Blue and White will go for the jugular here. Take BYU. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
