#714 OHIO STATE (-) over Virginia Tech by 20 at 7:30 PM EST
Virginia Tech just opened the season with six consecutive home games against the likes of Radford, Bowling Green (they lost this game), Western Carolina, Mount St. Mary's, Marshall and Morgan State. That certainly explains why the Hokies are 5-1 SU this season! In this, their first road war of the season, Tech will struggle matched up against this senior dominated Ohio State teams.
The Buckeyes own a nifty 2-0 SU record after knocking off Chicago State and Butler to open the season. Counting that "W" over the Bulldogs, OSU head coach Thad Matta is a perfect 11-0 SU at home in non-conference action with victory No. 12 is only hours away.
As stated earlier, State owns plenty of experience especially since five of the teams top six scorers are back from last year. If that's not enough for you to make this OSU investment, consider the following: With five or more days rest, Ohio State has been at its best posting a strong 45-22 ATS record. In addition, game three hosts coming off back-to-back home games to open are a profitable 37-24 ATS matched up against a foe that enters off two or more straight up wins.
On the other side of the court, Virginia Tech is just 18-30 ATS priced as a road dog of +7 or more and matched up against a foe that enters off a straight up win. In addition, a reliable system of mine that fades single digit road underdogs coming off three or more home games side with Ohio State and it wins on a consistent basis.
Ohio State lost this challenge game last year at Clemson. This time around the Buckeyes will get the job done. Take OHIO STATE. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
