Last year, Toledo (+2) traveled to Calihan Hall and suffered a 65-63 setback. Rest assured, the Rockets will be primed for this payback situation.
In case you haven't noticed, UT has been in a zone at Savage Hall in non-conference play winning 17 straight. Overall, the Rockets have registered an eye-opening 37-4 SU record in their last 41 at home.
Detroit plays great in its own backyard too. However, get the Titans away from Caliahn and they can easily be defeated. In its last 33 as a guest, Detroit is a soft 5-28 SU and 12-17-2 ATS including a woeful 3-20 SU and 6-14-1 ATS in this role matched up against an opponent that owns a won/loss percentage of .675 or less.
The Rockets are 3-5 SU this season thanks to an early season schedule that featured the likes of Missouri State, Iowa, Vanderbilt and Kansas. Detroit at 2-7 SU doesn't compare to any of those teams. Take Toledo in a blowout. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
