Sport: College HoopsPick Selection: Texas vs. Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State
I'm taking the points with OKLAHOMA STATE. Texas earned an impressive win at UCLA (by two points) to start December. However, the Longhorns got crushed at Missouri in their Big 12 road opener, losing by 13 points. While they did manage a comeback win (by two points) vs. Colorado in their last game, the Longhorns failed to cover and are now just 1-5 ATS their last six games. The Cowboys lost their last two games. However, both came on the road, where they have really struggled for some time. Playing at home has been a different story though. Indeed, Oklahoma State is 9-0 at home this season, including a 74-55 victory over Texas Tech in its Big 12 opener on Jan. 12. Note that the Cowboys went 6-2 in conference home games in 2006-07. I expect homecourt to be the difference this evening. The Cowboys won a thrilling contest (105-103 in triple OT) against the Longhorns here last season. They also crushed the Longhorns 81-60 when the teams met here in 2006. Including those results, the Cowboys are 5-1 SU (4-2 ATS) the last six times they were listed as the home team in this series, with the lone loss coming by a single point. Look for the Cowboys to continue their success on this floor, dropping the Longhorns to 3-7 ATS their last 10 lined games against teams with a winning record. *Big Monday GOM
