Take the Under in Tigers-Twins at 8:10 ET. The Tigers have been under in 20 of 27 games this season, and send Kenny Rogers to the mound this season. He's been under in five of six starts this year, and 11 of 15 against the Twins since 1997. Rogers has an ERA of 2.02 in his last three starts, and is also 19-7 under after allowing no earned runs in his last start since 1997. Kyle Lohse will start for the Twins, and he's 23-9 under in the last two seasons. Look for the Tigers - holding the opposition under the Mendoza Line in their last seven - to hold down the punchless Twins and keep the number under.
Take the A's over the Rays at 10:05 ET. Tampa is a miserable 13-40 in the first half of the last two seasons, and the Rays have been bad with the bat. In their last eight, they're 2-6, scoring around 3 1/2 runs per game while hitting under .200. The D-Rays are 5-10 on the road this year, and this one's not easy: they played in Tampa yesterday and overnighted to Oakland. Oakland has been hitting well, scoring over six runs per game in their last seven. The A's haven't lost at home to the D-Rays in the last two years. Take the A's.
Take the Cubs at 10:05 ET. The Padres have been rotten at home this season, going just 4-11 at Petco Park this year. And tonight they send the rotten Chan Ho Park to the bump, with an ERA of around six at home this year. San Diego hasn't gotten it done with the bats this season, scoring just 2.8 runs per game while hitting .200. And the Padres are going against a tough one tonight in Carlos Zambrano. Take the Cubs over the Padres.
