Take the Under in Red Sox-Tigers at 7:05 ET. Detroit has been under in 33 of 54 games this season, and the Motor City Kitties will send Kenny Rogers to the mound tonight. Rogers is under in 18 of his 25 starts in the first half of the last two seasons. The Tigers, before Thursday, were struggling a bit with the bat, hitting .240 with a .303 OBP. At home, Rogers has gotten it done, going under in 4 of 4 starts while posting a 2.08 ERA. This one goes under as well.
Take the Under in Rangers-White Sox at 8:35 ET. Kameron Loe is pitching for Texas, and he's been very good away from Arlington this season, with a 2.79 ERA and unders in five of five games. As well, Loe is 14-5 under the last two seasons. Texas is struggling with the bat, hitting .247 in their last seven games. The White Sox aren't doing much better, scoring 4 runs per game in their last seven games before Thursday. They will send Jon Garland to the mound with a 2.75 ERA at home this season. Under is the play here.
Take the Brewers over the Nationals at 8:05 ET. Milwaukee wishes it was in the NL East, as the Brew Crew is 11-4 against the East this season. The Brewers have also won six of their last seven at home against Washington. The Nationals are struggling with the bat, more so against lefties; they are averaging 3.9 R/G against southpaws this season. Tonight, they send Ramon Ortiz to the mound, and Ortiz has a fat 6.18 ERA on the road this season. Look for lefty Dana Eveland to shut down the Nationals as the Brewers win here.
