Arizona took Game One of this series on Tuesday and has now won three straight against the Rockies after starting the season 1-3 against Colorado. The Rockies were shut out as they continue to struggle scoring runs. They have plated three runs or fewer in seven of their last nine games, averaging a mere 2.8 rpg over that span. The Diamondbacks have struggled with that all season but the one thing they do have is pitching to back it up, none more so than on Wednesday.

Brandon Webb takes the hill after his best start of the season. He pitched a complete game at Houston, allowing one run on six hits and a walk while striking out 10. That effort carries over here and is the perfect time as Webb has had his recent struggles against the Rockies, allowing five runs in his two outings against them this season. He has had success in the past, coming in with a 7-4 record and a 3.16 ERA in 15 prior starts so it?s time to regain that dominance.

Aaron Cook is coming off a quality start, his first in his last three outings but that could be where it stops as he has struggled against Arizona. He has a 5.11 ERA in 11 career starts against the Diamondbacks but it is much worse of late. Colorado has dropped seven of his last eight against Arizona while Cook has posted a putrid 6.29 ERA and 1.75 WHIP over that span. After two consecutive solid seasons at Coors Field, it has been a digression in 2007 as he has a 6.00 ERA and 1.75 WHIP in four starts.

Arizona falls into a great situation taking into account the short price. Play on all teams with the money line of +125 to -125 that are hitting .250 or less with a starting pitcher who gives up 0.5 or less home runs per start going against a team with a bullpen whose ERA is more than 5.00.
