Sport: NBAPick Selection: Mem Grizzlies
The Grizzlies couldn't compete with last year's version of the Suns, as Phoenix swept Memphis in the first round of last year's postseason. In tonight's game, the Grizzlies will face a much different-looking team. Amare Stoudemire is out for at least four months with an injury and two other members of the team's starting-five, Quentin Richardson (NYK) and Joe Johnson (Atl), have moved on. Shawn Marion (18.8-13.3) and Steve Nash (18.3-11.3 APG) are having great years but the Suns have opened just 3-3, including 1-3 at home. While the Suns are getting much more production from their bench this year, that won't help them much vs Memphis. Gasol (20.2-7.5) leads the way but the Grizzlies are again, one of the league's deepest teams. The Grizz were 20-11 ATS as dogs last year in the regular season. They are allowing just 87.8 PPG so far this year and are worth a 'look' anytime they are getting points. Take Memphis.
