Make no bones about it, Denver got spanked at Washington its last time out falling by the score 120-91. Off that embarrassing loss, head coach George Karl will have his Carmello and the Boys primed and ready to go here.
Technically speaking, this is a great spot for the Nuggets. Denver opened the season with three consecutive losses but has failed to drop back-to-back games since November 10th! Also, when matched up against Eastern Conference foes, the Nuggets are a powerful 21-7 SU and 18-10 ATS including a strong 10-3 SU and ATS as a guest in this role.
On the other side of the court, Boston enters off three consecutive SU and ATS road wins at New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia. Unfortunately, those victories placed the Celtics in an automatic "play against" situation. At home entering off three or more as a guest, Boston is a soft 33-50 ATS including a woeful 16-29 ATS in this role matched up against a foe that enters off a straight up loss. Also, when priced as a home dog and off back-to-back SU wins, the Celtics have really struggled notching a pitiful 4-22-1 ATS mark including a shocking 1-20-1 ATS in this role provided Boston was an underdog or a favorite of -6 or less last.
Denver is a solid 7-3 ATS as a guest this season and the Nuggets will be champing at the bit to get back on the winning track. Take Denver. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
