Normally, I don't make it a habit of investing on teams that stand 20 games below the .500 mark. But this spot for Portland is as good as it gets.
Dating back to 1990, the Trailblazers have been at their best when priced as a home dog and matched up against a foe that enters off a SU win posting a strong 37-19 ATS record. In this role catching +6.5 or less, Portland improves to a sensational 32-12 ATS.
On the other side of the court, New Orleans has struggled as an unrested favorite matched up against an opponent that checks in off a SU and ATS loss notching a soft 21-37 ATS mark. If the Hornets enter off a SU and ATS win and are favored by -7 or less, this team trend dips to a shocking 4-14-1 ATS.
