NBA Pick

Lenny Del Genio's 15* NBA Trifecta (3-0 Last Fri) - 4/7/2006 7:00:00 PM

  • Sport: NBA
  • Pick Selection: LAL over PHX; IND over NYK; PHI over BOS

  • Take the Pacers at 8:05 ET. Indiana is 63-42 ATS revenging a same season loss the last three seasons. That loss was a fluke, and it was against a Knicks team that had all of its parts in place. The Knicks are now decimated by injuries, and have allowed 110.6 ppg in their last five games. At home, the Knicks are just 17-21 ATS while allowing 103.7 ppg. Look for the Pacers, with Anthony Johnson starting now at PG, to win and cover here over the reeling Knicks. Take the Lakers over the Suns at 10:35 ET. The Lakers are 15-7 ATS revenging a loss this season and have played well of late, going 4-1-1 ATS in their last five. The Suns, in their last time out, were upset as a favorite, and haven't recovered well from that situation in the past - they are 6-17 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite the last three seasons. The Suns' problems have been defensive, as they have allowed 118 ppg in their last five and have been outboarded by 14.6 rpg! Take the Lakers to cover here. Take the Sixers at 7:05 ET. Philly comes into this one off a home loss, but has recovered well in that situation in the last two seasons, going 22-10 ATS off a home loss in that time. Boston hasn't been anything special away from home this season, going 11-27 SU on the road this year. Their D has allowed 103.7 ppg away from home and has been worse recently, allowing 105.4 ppg in their last five. Philly has averaged 106.1 ppg in divisional play while outscoring their opposition by nearly five per game. Look for the Sixers, needing a win, to win and cover here.
