Sport: NBAPick Selection: Celtics @ Nets: New Jersey
I'm playing on NEW JERSEY. Its been an impressive start (4-0 SU/ATS) for the new-look Celtics. However, this is a tough spot for them. While Boston played at Atlanta yesteday, the Nets, who are also off to an impressive (4-1) start, had last night off. Note that the Celtics have played back to back games 14 times since last Christmas and have just five victories. While the Celtics have been putting up big points thus far, the Nets typically fare well against high-scoring teams. In fact, since 2005, they've gone a profitable 37-24-3 (61%) ATS against teams which score 99+ points. The Nets have also won 14 of the last 20 series meetings. They'll be anxious to prove that they're still capable of defending their home floor and to show the Celts that taking the Atlantic Division isn't going to be easy. I see this is as a "statement game" and I expect the Nets to come through with a massive effort. *Atlantic Division GOM
