Detroit is locked into one of its best total situations and I'm taking the under in tonight's battle against Chicago as my NBA Playoff Round 2 Total of the Year.
Since 1997, the Pistons have been an "automatic" under investment in games 5, 6 and 7 of a playoff series posting a record of 23-8 ATS. If Detroit owns a won/loss percentage of .655 or more in this situation, the under improves to a sensational 11-1 ATS!
There is another Pistons team trend that supports this under wager. Off a straight up post season loss, Detroit has posted a sensational 31-14 ATS under record including 23-8 ATS (under mark) provided the posted total is 173.5 or higher.
