#502 CLEVELAND (-) over Detroit at 7:05 PM EST
This is one game that Detroit could care less about playing. Pistons head coach Flip Saunders has been rotating bench players consistently since April 1st and he'll give most of his starters the night off rather than risk a foolish injury.
Cleveland locked up the No. 4 seed in the East thanks to its win over Philadelphia and the Cavaliers will want to sharpen their skills up a bit before facing Washington in the first round of the playoffs. LeBron and the Cavs have been solid at home this season (27-13 SU) and they'll want to send the Pistons a little message here.
Technically speaking, Cleveland is locked into one of my best last game situations. Since 1990, teams running in game 82 of the regular season are a tremendous 28-8-2 ATS provided they own a won/loss percentage less than .678 and they enter with momentum off back-to-back straight up wins. If our "play on" side is matched up against an unrested foe that carries a won/loss percentage greater than .200, this system hits perfection at 14-0 ATS! Cleveland applies to the general situation and the tightener.
In their final road game of the regular season, the Pistons have posted a dismal 3-13 SU and 5-9-1 ATS mark. The Cavs play well at home and they'll close with an impressive win. Take Cleveland. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
