Sport: NFLPick Selection: Vikings
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Vikings, who fall into an awesome Monday Night preseason system that is 13-0 ATS since 1983. Although the full system will remain for my eyes only, it involves playing on certain Monday Night home teams vs. a foe off a win. Last week, Oakland rode the emotion of former coach John Madden being inducted into the Hall of Fame, and upset the Philadelphia Eagles 16-10 in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The key to Oakland's win was that Philly turned the ball over five times, but the Eagles' first stringers dominated the game, and was up 7-0 before the back-ups got into the contest. The Vikings have won their last 4 preseason home games, and their victory margins in those games were 3, 11, 13, and 17 points. And Oakland has failed to cover 12 STRAIGHT preseason games on a foe's home field since the 2000 season. Take the Vikings. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
