Sport: NFLPick Selection: New Orleans Saints
At 8 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the New Orleans Saints minus the points over Philly, as Sean Payton's men fall into a 20-8 ATS system. The Saints have not been to the Playoffs since the 2000 season, when they went 10-6, and a lot of folks will shy away from New Orleans because of this supposed lack of experience. But that knee-jerk reaction is exactly what you don't want to do, as teams that have been out of the Playoffs for 5 or more years are a solid 15-3 ATS at home since 1982 in their initial playoff game, if they're matched up against a foe off a win, including a perfect 9-0 ATS when priced at -3.5 points or more.
