NFL Pick

Sunday ** High-Roller Dog Shocker of the Month** - 11/25/2007 1:00:00 PM

  • Sport: NFL
  • Pick Selection: Houston Texans +3.5 -110

  • Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM ET

    Houston Texans +3.5 -110

***High-Roller Dog Shocker of the Month*** Cleveland has won four of its last five games, gone 4-0-1 ATS over this span and the public is starting to form a huge line. I am not saying Cleveland is a fraud but they re as close as a team can get. The Browns six wins on the season have come against teams that are a combined 19-41 and they have played the 26th ranked schedule in the league. Everyone talks about how good this offense is becoming but when the defense is the worst in the league, the offense matters none.

Houston is coming off a big home win against New Orleans, its second consecutive victory. Wide receiver Andre Johnson is back in the lineup after missing seven games with a knee injury. He had 120 receiving yards and a touchdown last Sunday. If hew had been around all season, who knows how good this team could be right now. The Texans have outgained seven of 10 opponents and there is no reason to believe they cannot do it again here. The defense is starting to play really well.

Cleveland got another gift-wrapped win last week at Baltimore. It was its second straight division game and with two road games on deck, this is a big sandwich spot. As mentioned, this defense is bad and could be in for more as starting corner Eric Wright is out. The Browns have lost the time of possession battle in all but one game this season and their 130 penalties are most in the AFC. The 3.5 is the key number here but do not be surprised with the outright Houston upset. Play Houston Texans 2.5 Units
