#225 CHICAGO (-) over Oakland by 18 at 4:15 PM EST
At 3-5 SU, off a straight up loss and a week of rest, this is truly a must win situation for Chicago. Green Bay and Detroit are running away with the NFC North division and if the defending Champions want to have any shot at all at postseason play they must win this game.
Technically speaking, this is a marvelous spot for Chicago. Since 1990, the Bears own a 12-7 SU and ATS mark in the regular season coming off a week of rest including 6-2 ATS in this set on foreign soil. Equally impressive since '90, non-division single-digit rested road favorites are a sparkling 29-15 ATS! Chicago fits "bye week" system perfectly.
Fading Oakland shouldn't be any trouble at all for the Monsters of the Midway. The silver and Black are a nasty 39-61 ATS at home including a shocking 5-22-1 ATS provided the Raiders enter off a SU loss and own a won/loss percentage of .400 or less.
The Bears proud defense will return to form against this Raiders offense that simply can't move the football. Take Chicago. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
