Green Bay Packers -7.5 -105
***High-Roller of the Week*** The first initial reaction was to take a long and hard look at Seattle in this matchup. The Seahawks are obviously a quality football team and getting this many points seems like it should be an easy take. However when looking further not only does Seattle not become a play but the Packers are now the pick and in pretty overwhelming fashion. The Seahawks took out a very hot Washington team last week but despite the final score, the Redskins were one play away from taking a big lead and forcing Seattle into some tough spots. Instead, the Seahawks caught a break and eventually pulled away thanks to two late interception returns for scores. Seattle was outgained by a pretty pedestrian Washington offense and that does not bode well this weekend. Take the Seahawks out of Seattle and this becomes a totally different team. Seattle went just 3-5 on the road with wins over San Francisco, Philadelphia and St. Louis. The last should have been a loss but the Seahawks got away with one against the Rams. The Seahawks went 4-0 against St. Louis and San Francisco, 6-6 against the rest of the NFL, defeated only one playoff team the entire season and played the easiest schedule of any team in the league. They now travel to Green Bay where they lost in 2004 in overtime on a pick six and are now 0-5 in their last five playoff games away from home. Green Bay was a pleasant surprise this season as Brett Favre showed that he still has a lot in the tank. This offense was dangerous and is even more dangerous now seeing that Ryan Grant has emerged into a solid running back, giving the Packers a running game which it lacked early in the season. The defense is ranked 11th overall and 6th in scoring and Seattle?s one dimensional attack is going to have problems. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has been erratic against upper-tier cornerbacks and Al Harris and Charles Woodson are two of the best. It was Harris coincidentally that returned that pick back in 2004 for the win. Shaun Alexander is non-existent in the backfield so it will be up to the passing game to win. It just won?t happen. Favre and the Packers keep rolling along in an easy victory on Saturday. Play Green Bay Packers 2.5 Units
