#204 NEW ORLEANS (-) over San Francisco at 1 PM EST
Over the years, San Francisco has dominated New Orleans to the tune of 45-22-2 SU in the last 69 meetings. That record is certainly respected but it won?t be enough to take me off New Orleans in this contest.
One of my best NFL systems goes against the 49ers and I?m going to ride it to victory lane once again. Since 1980, road teams are a weak 83-112-3 ATS provided they enter off back-to-back straight up wins provided they covered as a home favorite last and a road dog two games back. If our guest is matched up against a sub .500 foe that checks in off back-to-back straight up losses, this system dips to a woeful 16-31-1 ATS. The Niners are locked into this general situation and the tightener.
San Francisco hasn?t been at its best on foreign soil anyway. In fact, on the road coming off a straight up win, the 49ers are a soft 13-29 SU and 14-26-2 ATS including 7-18 ATS in this set matched up against a non-division foe. In addition, off a pair of pointspread victories, the Niners have struggled something fierce notching a woeful 7-19 ATS mark in their next game.
The Saints have posted SU and ATS wins against the 49ers in seven of the last nine meetings. Tie that up with the fact that Drew Brees and the boys are resting at the bottom of the NFC South standings and you have all the ingredients needs for a Saints victory. Take New Orleans! Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
