The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were once the joke of the NFL. They endured a
perfect season of futility, losing every game with a quarterback named Steve
Spurrier, who would later become a legendary college football coach. The Bucs of
recent years have been formidable, however, and under the boyish coach Jon
Gruden they won Super Bowl XXXVII, beating his former team the Oakland Raiders.
